  • Cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics, and similar technologies used for site operation, preferences, measurement, security, and advertising, depending on your settings and applicable law.

2. How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries, determine service availability, schedule appointments, provide requested content, and administer services or purchases.
  • To communicate about appointments, transactions, educational content, programs, events, and marketing where permitted. You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link provided.
  • To personalize and improve the website, understand engagement, troubleshoot, secure systems, prevent fraud, and measure advertising effectiveness.
  • To comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, respond to legal process, and establish or defend legal claims.
  • For other purposes disclosed at collection or with your consent.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and contractors that support hosting, security, analytics, email, customer relationship management, scheduling, payment processing, advertising, laboratory fulfillment, supplement fulfillment, professional services, and other operations. We may also share information:

  • At your direction or with your consent;
  • With professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors;
  • To comply with law, court order, subpoena, regulatory request, or lawful process;
  • To protect the rights, property, safety, and security of ThyroSisters, users, patients, or others;
  • In connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics activities may be considered “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. [CONFIRM CURRENT ADVERTISING, PIXEL, ANALYTICS, AND COOKIE PRACTICES BEFORE POSTING.]

4. Cookies and Advertising Choices

You may control cookies through browser settings and, where provided, a website cookie-preference tool. Blocking cookies may affect functionality. You may also use industry opt-out mechanisms and device settings for interest-based advertising. We do not respond to every browser “Do Not Track” signal because no uniform standard applies; we will honor legally recognized preference signals where required.

5. California and Other U.S. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and recipients; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To submit a privacy request, contact support@thyrosisters.com or 858-284-9501. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, subject to verification. Certain information may be exempt, including information governed by HIPAA or maintained for legal, security, or recordkeeping obligations.

6. Information for Individuals in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Similar Jurisdictions

Where applicable, we process personal information based on one or more legal grounds: performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights; protection of vital interests; or consent. You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object, receive portable data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Providing services across borders may involve transfers to the United States; where required, we use an authorized transfer mechanism or other lawful safeguards.

7. Health and Sensitive Information

Health, biometric, genetic, login, precise-location, government-identifier, and other sensitive information may receive additional protection under applicable law. Please use designated secure systems for patient information. Public website forms and ordinary email may not be appropriate for highly sensitive information unless specifically designed and identified for that purpose.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including providing services, maintaining business and clinical records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and protecting security. Retention periods vary by information type, legal requirements, and operational need.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting passwords and devices and for notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
